What is commercial photography, and do YOU need it?
In general, commercial photography is simply photography of any aspect of a business. If you're a business owner, chances are you'll need some kind of photography at one point or another. Whether a business needs photos of its employees, products, or facility, this is a very necessary photography service that we're happy to offer to Medford business!
Here are a few examples of commercial photography that we have often done at our Medford studio:
1. Wine
The wine industry often requires photos of not only their wine bottles, but often the grounds. A lot of our Southern Oregon wineries have the option for couples to book them as wedding venues. So naturally these wineries would need to be able to show potentially interested couples some good pictures of what their winery looks like.
2. Real Estate
I'm sure this is an obvious one; we've all seen real estate photos on Zillow and Century21, right? Think about home listings that you've seen before. There's a chance you've seen listings with really great photos of the home for sale, and listings with really lousy photos. Home-buyers want to be able to see what the home looks like, and home listings with professional photos often sell a lot faster than listings with someone's iPhone pictures!
3. Restaurants
I'm sure I'm not the only person who prefers it when restaurant menus have pictures of the food! Whether on a printed menu, a website or Facebook page, or even a printed ad, food has got to look appetizing or else no one will come in the door of a restaurant. That's where professional commercial photography comes in for restaurants!
4. Amazon sellers
Amazon has very specific parameters that product photos have to fit within in order to be on an Amazon listing. It can be very tricky to get the kind of quality that Amazon requires, especially to someone who is unfamiliar with photography. Leave the product photography to us so you can just focus on your Amazon store!
5. eCommerce Stores
This applies to absolutely anything you see sold in an online store. Some eCommerce stores also have a brick and mortar location that they want to have professionally photographed to put on the website. And of course, there are lots of products that all need wonderful pictures to show to online customers!
There are many more business that can all benefit from commercial photography, of course. If you're one of them, we'd love to help communicate your business brand to your target market through great photography!
